ClearVista Labs Website Privacy Policy

Effective Date: October 31, 2026

This Website Privacy Policy explains how ClearVista Labs LLC ("CVL," "we," "us," or "our") collects, uses, discloses, and protects personal information in connection with clearvistalabs.com (the "Website") and communications relating to the Website.

This policy concerns the Website, not information collected through the Bearings mobile application. Information collected through Bearings is addressed in the Bearings App Privacy Policy and Consumer Health Data Privacy Policy. App stores handle information under their own privacy policies. Certain download and activity links lead to CVL operated pages at bearings-time.web.app, which are addressed in the Bearings App Privacy Policy.

1. Information You Provide

When you submit our contact form, sign up for our newsletter, or contact us directly, we collect the information you provide, which may include your name, email address, organization, message, and other contact or inquiry details. We use this information to respond to inquiries and provide requested communications.

Please avoid including sensitive information that is unnecessary for us to respond to your inquiry. The Website is not a channel for clinical services or emergency assistance.

2. Technical and Website Usage Information

The Website uses analytics and measurement tools to collect information about visits and interactions with Website content. The information collected depends on the tools and settings enabled and may include pages viewed, links clicked, referring pages or campaign information, timestamps, IP addresses, browser and device information, and online identifiers. We use this information for the purposes described below.

3. Website Analytics, Advertising, and App Store Link Measurement

We use a Website only Google Analytics 4 (GA4) property to measure visits and interactions, including page views, scrolling, outbound link clicks, app store and download link clicks, and FAQ expansions. Information includes page and session information, browser and device information, approximate location, campaign information from advertising links, the placement of a clicked button, and the FAQ selected.

We link this property to Google Ads and import app store and download link click events for campaign conversion measurement. Google Ads auto tagging is enabled. Google signals and personalized advertising through the linked property are disabled, and we do not assign a User ID in GA4. A click on an app store link is not the same as an installation; App installs and attribution are measured separately, as described in the Bearings App Privacy Policy.

We use the Meta pixel to measure Website activity and advertising performance. When enabled, it sends Meta the page URL and referrer, event name and time, browser cookie and click identifiers, screen size, browser user agent, and IP address. We do not send contact form or newsletter form contents through the pixel. Meta may use the information for advertising delivery, personalization, and product improvement under its applicable terms.

4. Cookies and Similar Technologies

The Website uses the following cookies. It does not use local storage, session storage, or Cloudflare cookies.

  • _ga and _ga_<id>, set by the Google tag, lasting 2 years: GA4 client ID and session state;
  • _gcl_au, set by the Google tag, lasting 90 days: Google Ads conversion linker;
  • _gcl_aw, set by the Google tag, lasting 90 days: Google Ads click ID, only when you arrive from a Google advertisement;
  • _fbp, set by the Meta pixel, lasting 90 days: Meta browser ID;
  • _fbc, set by the Meta pixel, lasting 90 days: Meta click ID, only when you arrive from a Meta advertisement; and
  • cvl_consent, set by the Website, lasting 12 months: stores the consent banner choice for visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland.

Your browser may allow you to block or delete cookies or restrict similar technologies. Browser controls vary and may affect Website functionality. Blocking or deleting cookies does not necessarily stop all analytics transmissions or remove information already collected. You may contact us using the details below about available privacy choices.

We honor Global Privacy Control and the advertising opt out available through the Your Privacy Choices link in the Website footer by stopping Website advertising disclosures to Google Ads and Meta, including preventing conversion events from opted out visits from being imported from GA4 into Google Ads. For U.S. visitors, Website analytics continues through GA4 after this advertising opt out, including page views, scrolling, outbound and download link clicks, and FAQ interactions, and GA4 continues to use its analytics client identifier cookie. Visitors in the EEA, UK, and Switzerland see a consent banner before any analytics or advertising cookies load, and declining it stops both. We do not respond to browser Do Not Track signals.

5. How We Use Information

We use personal information to respond to inquiries; communicate about our products and business; operate, maintain, and secure the Website; understand Website engagement and improve content; evaluate the effectiveness of links and campaigns as described above; prevent misuse; comply with legal obligations; and establish, exercise, or defend legal rights.

6. How We Disclose Information

Cloudflare Pages hosts the Website. Contact and newsletter signup forms are processed through Google Apps Script within CVL’s Google Workspace, which records submissions in Google Sheets and sends email notifications. Google also receives analytics and conversion information through the tools described in Section 3. Meta receives information through the Meta pixel when it is enabled.

We may also disclose information where required by law or reasonably necessary to respond to legal process, protect rights or safety, investigate misuse or security incidents, or establish or defend legal claims. Information may be disclosed in connection with a proposed or completed merger, financing, reorganization, or sale of relevant business assets, subject to applicable law.

7. Advertising, Sale, and Sharing

We use Website information for analytics, conversion measurement, and advertising purposes as described in Section 3. Meta may also use information received through the pixel for advertising delivery, personalization, and product improvement. Your choices are described in Section 4. Questions or requests concerning Website advertising related processing may be directed to hello@clearvistalabs.com. Depending on applicable law and how a recipient uses the information, these advertising related disclosures may constitute a sale, sharing, or targeted advertising even when no money is exchanged for the information. Section 4 explains how to stop the Website advertising disclosures, including through Global Privacy Control and Your Privacy Choices.

8. Retention

We retain personal information for periods reasonably necessary for the purposes described in this policy, including responding to inquiries, operating and securing the Website, evaluating Website and conversion performance, maintaining relevant business records, complying with legal obligations, and resolving disputes. The applicable period depends on the information, its purpose, the settings of the tools used, and any legal retention obligations. The Website GA4 user and event level data retention setting is 14 months; it does not govern aggregated reports or replace applicable deletion rights. Contact form inquiries are retained for 24 months after submission and are then removed from both Google Sheets and the associated email records, subject to any applicable legal retention requirement. We retain active newsletter subscription information while you remain subscribed. After you unsubscribe, we retain related signup and subscription records for up to 24 months, unless a longer period is required by law or reasonably necessary to establish, exercise, or defend legal claims, and we may keep minimal suppression information for as long as needed to honor your unsubscribe request. These are ordinary retention periods and do not limit rights to earlier deletion under applicable law. Google and Meta retain information they receive through the tools described in Section 3 under their own terms and retention practices.

9. Privacy Choices and Requests

Depending on applicable law, you may have the right to ask whether we process your personal information, request access to or a copy of it, correct inaccuracies, request deletion, or opt out of certain advertising related uses or disclosures. Available rights are subject to applicable conditions and exceptions. To submit a request, follow the instructions below.

To submit a Website privacy request, email hello@clearvistalabs.com with the subject “Website Privacy Request.” Describe the request and provide enough information for us to locate the relevant records, such as the email address you used to contact us. Please identify your state of residence so we can assess the rights that apply. You do not need to create a Bearings account to submit a Website request. Please do not send government identification documents or sensitive information unless we request information reasonably needed for a permitted verification process.

For requests requiring identity verification, we use information reasonably necessary to match the request to our records and protect against unauthorized disclosure or changes. We may ask for additional information where needed. We use verification information only for verification and related permitted purposes and retain it no longer than necessary. Requests to opt out of sale, sharing, or targeted advertising are not subject to the identity verification process used for access or deletion requests, except as permitted by applicable law.

Where applicable law permits an authorized agent to act for you, the agent may contact us at the same email address and identify the requested action. For access, correction, or deletion requests, we may require proof of signed permission and may ask you to verify your identity directly or confirm the agent’s authority, as permitted by law. We will recognize a valid power of attorney as required by applicable law and will not require a power of attorney merely to use an authorized agent. We will not require you to resubmit an agent’s request in your individual capacity where prohibited by law.

We respond to requests within the period required by applicable law. Where a lawful extension is necessary, we will explain the extension and its reasons as required. We will explain a denial or inability to complete a request, subject to lawful restrictions. Requests are handled without charge except where applicable law permits a fee. We will not unlawfully discriminate against you for exercising applicable privacy rights.

If applicable law gives you a right to appeal our decision, email hello@clearvistalabs.com with “Website Privacy Appeal” in the subject line, identify the decision, and explain why you believe it should be reconsidered. We will review the appeal and respond within the period required by the applicable law. If the appeal is denied, we will provide information about contacting the appropriate state authority where required.

If we send promotional emails, you may unsubscribe using the instructions in those emails. Unsubscribing from promotional messages does not necessarily stop communications needed to respond to an inquiry or address legal or security matters.

10. Children

The Website is intended for an adult audience and is not directed to children under 13. We do not knowingly collect personal information from children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information through the Website, please contact us so we can review the matter and take appropriate steps.

11. Security

We use reasonable administrative, technical, and organizational measures designed to protect personal information. No method of transmission or storage is completely secure, and we cannot guarantee absolute security.

12. External Links and Services

The Website may link to app stores and other external websites or services. Their information practices are governed by their own policies. Please review the relevant policies when using those services.

13. Changes to This Policy

We may update this policy as our Website or information practices change. The effective date identifies the current version. We will provide additional notice or obtain consent where required by applicable law.
